Kuro Games, the popular mobile game developer and publisher of the epic action RPG, “Punishing: Gray Raven” releases a brand new trailer for their upcoming open-world RPG, “Wuthering Waves.” The trailer also confirms that the game will be launching for both Android and iOS devices.

About “Wuthering Waves”

“Wuthering Waves” is Kuro Games’ next action RPG for mobile. The game the gameplay mechanics of “Punishing: Gray Raven” and transfers it into a brand new open-world environment. The story takes place in a world struck by a calamity a hundred years ago. Ever since then, monstrous beings have spawned throughout the lands sowing discord and destruction in their wake. Human civilization was pushed on the brink of collapse.

To rebuild and survive, the remaining humans have banded together and set aside their differences, erecting cities to defend themselves. But the threat still looms beyond the city boundaries. This is where you, the player, will come in. You’ll take control of a team of unique characters, each with their own special abilities that are tasked to fight against these monsters that threaten to destroy your newfound utopia.

Gameplay And Features

Nothing much has been revealed about the game just yet but from what we’ve seen in the latest trailer, we can theorize that “Wuthering Waves” will be an open-world action RPG where you can freely explore everything. You can jump, swim, climb, glide, and even parkour your way through various obstacles and structures. Exploring will also give you the opportunity to find treasure chests, discover new areas, gather crafting materials, and so on.

Just like in “Punishing: Gray Raven,” players can form a team of characters, where you can switch from 1 character to the other during combat which gives you the opportunity to perform various combos and skill chains. Each character has their own playstyle, element, and weapons ranging from close combat to long range. As the game is action-oriented, it will focus more on dodging and parrying enemy attacks, something Kuro Game is known to have perfected despite being on mobile, all thanks to their previous games. 

Release Date And Availability

As of this writing, “Wuthering Waves” has no official release date just yet although we can confirm that the game will be launching for both Android and iOS devices.
