Yostar Announces Stella Sora Closed Beta Test for PC and Android Starting May 28

Yostar has officially announced the Closed Beta Test (CBT) for its upcoming cross-platform RPG, Stella Sora. The beta will run from May 28 to June 8, 2025, and will be available for both PC and Android users. This test marks the first public hands-on opportunity for players to experience the game before its full release. The CBT is designed to gather real user feedback, test core systems, and polish gameplay ahead of launch.

Key Details of the Closed Beta Test

Access to the CBT is limited to selected players who successfully completed pre-registration and the entry survey on the official website. This is a small-scale test with no in-game purchases enabled. All data generated during the test will be deleted once the beta ends, and the content does not reflect the final quality of the full game. Players will be able to explore key gameplay elements including select story stages, character interactions, and even customize the main character’s appearance. Email invitations and download instructions will be sent out starting May 26.

System Requirements

For PC players, the minimum system requirements include Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), an Intel Core i3 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a graphics card equivalent to a GeForce GTX 750. A recommended setup would feature at least an Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1060 or higher to ensure smooth gameplay.

On Android devices, users will need to be running Android 9.0 or later, with a Snapdragon 865 or newer processor, at least 6GB of RAM, and 12GB of available storage. For the best performance, Yostar recommends a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip and 8GB of RAM.

Pre-Registration Milestones and Rewards

Stella Sora has already exceeded 2.5 million pre-registrations. As a result, all players will receive milestone rewards including 10,000 Dorra (in-game currency) and 200 Stellanite Dust. Upcoming milestones include a Tranquil Retreat Disc at the 3 million mark and a 4-star character named Ann at 6 million. These rewards will be distributed to all players after the game’s official launch and are a major incentive for new users to pre-register.
