AION 2 Set to Launch November 18 in Taiwan and South Korea

AION 2, the long-awaited MMORPG from NCSoft, is finally set to launch in Taiwan and South Korea on November 18, 2025. The release marks a major comeback for the iconic AION franchise, bringing both mobile and PC players together in one unified world.

Pre-download Available

Players can pre-download the game and reserve their character names starting November 16, just days before the official launch. Pre-registration has been live since September, offering in-game rewards and early bonuses for those who sign up ahead of time.

What’s New in AION 2

AION 2 revives the legendary Elyos versus Asmodian war with modern upgrades. The game features full flight zones, massive faction PvP battles in the Abyss, and seamless cross-platform play between PC and mobile. NCSoft also confirmed that AION 2 will adopt a free-to-play model with optional in-game purchases and memberships.

When is the Global Version?

The game will first go live in Taiwan and South Korea before expanding globally, possibly in 2026. Players are also eager to see if the mobile and PC versions will launch with full feature parity at release. With its updated visuals and large-scale battles, AION 2 is shaping up to be one of NCSoft’s most ambitious projects yet.
