On November 23, Alodia Gosiengfiao, the acclaimed cosplayer and gamer, announced her departure from Tier One Entertainment via Facebook. In a straightforward post, she revealed that misalignment of visions and values prompted her decision to part ways with the gaming and esports talent agency she co-founded in 2017.
“It is with a heavy heart that I bid Tier One Entertainment farewell. The journey we shared in building the company has been challenging and rewarding. However, it has become evident that our visions and values are not aligned,” she shared in her announcement.
Despite the separation, Alodia expressed gratitude for the experiences, relationships, and accomplishments during her tenure with Tier One Entertainment. The company reciprocated, acknowledging Alodia’s significant contributions to their success.
In a statement, Tier One Entertainment thanked Alodia for being an “unwavering beacon of excellence” and an inspiration to cosplayers, content creators, and the gaming industry. They emphasized that their current standing wouldn’t be possible without her.
“We are truly grateful for the time and dedication you have given us over the years. In the Philippines and around the world, you are undeniably one of one. It is essential for everyone to find a place where their values align and their vision can flourish,” the company stated in its message.
Tier One Entertainment concluded its farewell by wishing Alodia the best in her future endeavors, both professionally and within her growing family.
Alodia Gosiengfiao, alongside esports veteran Tryke Gutierrez and entrepreneur Brian Lim, co-founded Tier One Entertainment in 2017. The agency plays a pivotal role in managing content creators, overseeing its main brand and the streamer collective AMPLFY, and managing professional esports teams under its Blacklist International esports label.
In September, the agency expanded its roster of talents, welcoming actress Sharleen San Pedro and Jhanzen Latorre into the fold.
