Bonfire Studios has officially revealed Arkheron, a fast-paced, dynamic PvP action game where 15 teams of three clash in a desperate struggle to ascend a mysterious Tower. The game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. While no release date has been confirmed, a PC alpha playtest is set for September 19–21.
A World Built on Memories and the Abyss
Set in a surreal dimension shaped from emotionally-charged fragments of the living world, Arkheron pits players against each other and against the pull of the destructive Abyss. Every competitor is bound to the Tower by memories they can’t fully recall, fighting to reach the summit and uncover the truth.
Key Features of Arkheron
- The Only Way Out is Up – In Ascension mode, teams battle monsters, rival squads, and capture points across multiple Tower floors. Victories advance you upward, with the pool shrinking until a final 3v3 showdown at the summit decides the winner.
- What You Carry Defines You – Weapons and abilities manifest as Relics, each able to shift your playstyle. Complete a full set to transform into an Eternal with a unique fifth ability, or mix Relics for custom synergies and a flexible “shattered” build.
- High Stakes, Close Quarters Combat – The isometric free-aim combat system keeps the action tight, with fast-paced dodges, skill shots, and immersive audio cues that make sound as important as sight.
