Battlefield 6 Season 1 Trailer Unveils New Maps, Weapons and Modes

Battlefield 6’s first official trailer for Season 1 has been released, providing players with a better preview of the upcoming major update. Maps, modes, and weapons that will be released throughout the season are all featured in the action-packed trailer.

Tactical Modes and New Maps

Two new settings are introduced in Season 1: Blackwell Fields, which makes its debut at launch and is explained as a re-commissioned air base in the California badlands that allows for both infantry and vehicle engagements. Arriving later in the season, the second map, Eastwood, connects golf-course fairways and drained swimming pools for fierce close-quarters fighting in a Southern Californian suburb.

Additionally, Strikepoint, a new mode, is added. Players in this 4v4 mode have one life per round, focusing more on cooperation and tactical accuracy over raw firepower.

New Armaments and Equipment

A number of new weapons that are available through the battle pass are also shown in the trailer, such as the GGH-22 sidearm for high mobility combat, the Mini Fix sniper rifle for quick-scope recon players, and the SOR-300C carbine for close-range power.

Along with new accessories and cosmetic enhancements to customize their loadouts, players can anticipate the arrival of the Traverser Mk 2 armored personnel carrier on the battlefield.
