Brave Frontier Versus, a TCG Adaptation of the Iconic Series, Opens Global Pre-Registration

Gumi Inc. has announced Brave Frontier Versus, a new trading-card game (TCG) adaptation of the beloved Brave Frontier mobile JRPG series, and global pre-registration is now open for both Android and iOS. The game is scheduled for release in Fall 2025.

Strategic Battles, Simplified Format

Brave Frontier Versus offers fast, five-turn battles where each match consists of up to six units on the field. The goal is to build strong synergy between cards, execute strategy quickly, and enjoy tight matches that remain exciting even for newcomers. The game retains signature Brave Frontier mechanics like Brave Bursts, and adds new features such as Manifestation Cards drawn during the 3rd and 5th turns with enhanced stats and special abilities.

Accessible Yet Deep Gameplay

With anime-style visuals, global PvP multiplayer, and beginner-friendly mechanics, Brave Frontier Versus aims to strike a balance between fan service and accessibility. Players can join in without needing deep experience in card games. The deck consists solely of character cards, keeping the learning curve gentler.

Pre-Registration Rewards & Extras

Pre-registration brings milestone rewards, such as 1,000 Gems and themed character cards like Melody of Fire and Ice, Symphony of Earth and Thunder, and Hymn of Light and Darkness. As more players pre-register, these rewards will improve.
