CrisisX to Showcase Massive Zombie Survival Gameplay at Gamescom 2025

The survival genre is about to get a new challenger. While DayZ has long dominated the world of online zombie survival games, CrisisX is stepping onto the stage with even larger ambitions. This upcoming MMO survival title will feature up to 5,000 players in a single room and a sprawling 1,200 square kilometer map. The game will also support crossplay between PC and mobile platforms, and fans can catch a first look at Gamescom 2025.

About CrisisX

CrisisX is an open-world zombie survival game designed for large-scale player interaction. On its massive map, players will explore 12 unique biomes, ranging from forests and swamps to deserts and snowy mountains.

The game promises more than just fighting zombies — survival depends on managing:

  • Resources and Wildlife: Hunt animals, gather food, and scavenge supplies.
  • Weapons and Tools: From knives and crossbows to pistols and sniper rifles.
  • Realistic Survival Systems: Hunger, thirst, disease, poisons, and even overeating or under-eating affect your health.
  • Player Relations: Choose between forming alliances or risking betrayal in a lawless world.

A Survival Experience Beyond Zombies

While the infected roam the land, they are not the only threat. Wild animals, hostile players, and the environment itself can end your journey. Players will also need to manage their physical well-being — exercise improves stamina and strength, while clothing choices directly impact survival in different weather conditions.

Release Information

CrisisX will launch as a free-to-play title on PC, iOS, and Android. The game is already listed on Steam, where players can follow its development. Its upcoming showcase at Gamescom 2025 will likely reveal more details about gameplay, progression, and its ambitious large-scale systems.
