The hit co-op FPS universe Deep Rock Galactic is branching into mobile with a brand-new spin-off, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. This standalone title transforms the mining and bug-blasting chaos into a bullet heaven survival shooter designed for iOS and Android. Players can already pre-register, with a launch window set for winter 2025.
Gameplay and Features
Unlike the original first-person shooter, Survivor adopts a top-down perspective and delivers a single-player experience focused on surviving relentless waves of alien bugs. The action takes place in procedurally generated caves, where players must mine, fight, and explore while completing mission objectives.
To stay alive, dwarves can customize their loadouts through an extensive Gear system, which includes armor, weapon modifications, gadgets, and even Bosco’s chips.

While the game offers a fresh format, it stays true to the spirit of Deep Rock Galactic. Mining for resources, battling swarms, and exploring treacherous caverns all remain core elements of gameplay. The mobile edition of Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is being co-developed by Funday Games and Piktiv, with publishing handled by Ghost Ship Publishing. Unlike many mobile titles, the game is confirmed to be a premium one-time purchase instead of a free-to-play release, ensuring the full experience without microtransaction barriers.
According to the App Store listing, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor may arrive as early as November 12, 2025, though this date is not yet finalized. With pre-registration live, fans of dwarven mayhem and bullet heaven shooters can secure their spot ahead of launch.
