Dinosaur Survival Horror Deathground Roars Into Early Access Today

Deathground, a survival horror game where players face AI-controlled dinosaurs in abandoned research facilities, enters Early Access on Steam as of today. It’s available at a 15% launch discount until October 21.

Developed by Jaw Drop Games using Unreal Engine 5, the current Early Access state includes:

Six character classes
Four loadout items
Three main maps and two training maps
Two types of enemy AI
Both solo and co-op modes

The dev team has shared an Early Access roadmap featuring monthly “mini-updates” and periodic Communications Updates. They emphasize that this version is not final—bugs and rough edges are expected, and community feedback is invited via their Discord.

According to the developers, the Early Access phase will last roughly 8 to 12 months, depending on when the community deems the game ready for full release.
