Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, the newly revealed entry in the iconic Dragon Quest series, will launch worldwide for iOS and Android in 2026. Ahead of release, fans will get their first chance to play through a closed beta test scheduled for October 14–21, with pre-registration now open via the official website.
A Fresh Roguelite Spin on Dragon Quest
Dragon Quest Smash/Grow blends classic series charm with roguelite action. Players will smash through hordes of monsters to build power, then unleash devastating Coup de Grace finishers, a staple of the franchise. Along the way, adventurers can select from a variety of random Blessings skills, tailoring their growth and strategy to the unique challenges of each run. With no two quests alike, the game promises an ever-changing experience rooted in Dragon Quest’s legacy.
