GENMUGAME CO., LTD., the studio behind Haze Reverb, has launched the open beta test for its anime-style semi-RTS RPG, Elpis: Fallen Star. The beta is available on Android devices in the US, UK, and Philippines, running until August 30, 2025. This is a full-wipe test, meaning progress will reset once the beta concludes.

Enter the Abyss and Battle the Demon King
Elpis: Fallen Star places players in command of an exploration squad of up to eight members. The mission is clear: survive the Gate to the Abyss, which has unleashed endless corruption across the land, and ultimately confront the Demon King.
The adventure begins with key characters like Agnes and a mysterious pink-haired girl, setting the stage for an epic journey. Battles require players to issue commands in semi-real-time combat, blending tactical depth with fast-paced strategy.

Build Bonds and Unleash Total Assault
The game features a character-driven system with four distinct classes: Spellweaver, Ghosthunter, Ironclad, and Voidblade. By forging bonds with allies such as Vee and Freya, players can strengthen their squads and unlock the powerful Total Assault ability to crush enemies.

A Blend of Strategy and Charm
Beyond combat, Elpis: Fallen Star offers chibi-styled characters, anime visuals, full voice acting, and guild features. Players can also enjoy extras like Monica’s cooking and pre-battle planning, adding depth outside of combat.

Available Now in Select Regions
Elpis: Fallen Star is now playable via Google Play for Android users in the US, UK, and Philippines. There is no word yet on an iOS or full global release, so fans outside these regions will need to wait for further updates.
