Fallen Sword II to Revive Classic Browser RPG Legacy

Hunted Cow Games has announced that Fallen Sword II will launch in the third quarter of 2026. This new title serves as a spiritual successor to the original Fallen Sword, which has been a popular browser game since 2006. The upcoming release is designed as a cross-platform MMORPG, meaning you can play it on Android, iOS, and PC. It aims to capture the charm of the retro original while offering a modern experience for today’s gamers.

Enhanced Visuals and New Gameplay Mechanics

The biggest change in this sequel is the move from text-based gameplay to a more visual 3D world. Players will be able to explore the storied lands of Erildath and engage in fast-paced turn-based combat. You can choose from six different heroic classes and use elemental weapons to defeat enemies. The game also includes exciting features like gauntlets filled with bosses and dungeon traps. This shift to modern graphics is expected to breathe new life into the classic series.

Classic Features and Social Elements

Fans of the first game will be happy to see many familiar features returning in Fallen Sword II. This includes popular systems like crafting, alchemy, and the Gemforge. There is also a strong focus on community through the inclusion of Guilds and large-scale battles. Players will be tasked with sealing away an ancient evil to save the world from darkness. You can already pre-register for the game on the App Store or Google Play Store to get ready for the launch.
