Flesh Made Fear Launches October 31 on Steam

On October 31, 2025, Flesh Made Fear, created by Tainted Pact and published by Assemble Entertainment, will be available on PC through Steam. It will draw inspiration from the tradition of survival horror while adding a lethal twist. Players take on the roles of elite agents from the “Reaper Intervention Platoon (R.I.P.)” who are entrusted with breaking into the hideout of Victor “The Dripper” Ripper, a deranged former CIA agent whose bizarre experiments have transformed a sleepy town into a nightmare.

A tribute to Classic Horror Survival Games

Flesh Made Fear highlights dread and vulnerability. The two protagonists available to players are Natalie, who carries more but is physically weaker, and Jack, who has more health but fewer inventory slots.

The game brings back classic horror elements, such as tight inventory control, fixed and dynamic camera angles, limited saves, and limited resources. Every choice to fight or run away has consequences, and the story is deftly interwoven with puzzles.

Flesh Made Fear’s visuals combine elements of the PSX era with contemporary elements. It evokes the eerie ambiance that characterized the heyday of survival horror, from hideous monster designs to dingy industrial hallways.

Horror That’s Ideal for Halloween

Flesh Made Fear appears to be the ideal Halloween choice for fans yearning for a true return to survival horror’s origins. It promises to revive the fear that fans of the classics have been missing for years with its blend of tension, nostalgia, and new mechanics.
