Gachiakuta: The Game Announced for Consoles and PC

Publisher and developer Com2uS has officially announced GACHIAKUTA: The Game, a new project based on the dark fantasy manga and anime series. The title is being described as a “survival action RPG” and is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. This announcement follows the massive success of the Gachiakuta anime, which premiered in July 2025. While a specific release date has not been confirmed yet, the project aims to bring the unique, gritty world of the series to a global gaming audience.

Based on the Hit Anime and Manga

The game takes its inspiration from the original work by Kei Urana, which follows the story of Rudo Surebrec. In this dystopian world, people living in a floating paradise discard their trash and unwanted individuals into a massive abyss known as the Pit. Rudo, a boy from the slums who finds value in discarded items, is framed for a crime and thrown into this wasteland. The game will likely allow players to experience Rudo’s struggle for survival and revenge as he uses his “Vital Instrument” to battle monstrous Trash Beasts in the depths of the Pit.

Immersive World and Art Style

Gachiakuta is well known for its stylish graffiti-inspired artwork and intense combat, and fans are eager to see how Com2uS translates this aesthetic into a 3D environment. As a survival action RPG, players can expect mechanics that involve scavenging for resources and upgrading equipment to survive the harsh conditions of the wasteland. Com2uS has a history of developing engaging RPGs, and their involvement suggests a high level of polish for this adaptation. More details regarding gameplay and a possible launch window are expected to be revealed in 2026.
