Genshin Impact Version 5.3 to Introduce Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, as a Playable Character

Genshin Impact fans have reason to celebrate as the highly anticipated Version 5.3 update will introduce Mavuika, also known as Haborym, as the next playable character. This announcement has sparked excitement within the community, especially since Mavuika is the first and only human Archon to rise to power in Teyvat.

A Unique Archon in Genshin Impact’s Roster

Unlike her immortal counterparts such as Venti, Zhongli, and Raiden Shogun, Mavuika ascended as the Pyro Archon through Natlan’s unique traditions. Her mortal origins, however, do not make her any less formidable. Natlan’s Archon Quests revealed her intricate 500-year-long plan to protect her nation from the Abyss, showcasing her cunning and determination.

Mavuika originally took on the mantle of Pyro Archon during the Khaen’riah Cataclysm, a time when Natlan faced the brunt of the Abyss’s onslaught. With the help of six chosen heroes, she successfully defended her nation but foresaw the Abyss’s inevitable return. To prepare for this threat, she sacrificed herself to the Sacred Flame, ensuring her eventual revival through her Ancient Name, “Kiongozi.”

Mavuika’s Gameplay and Abilities

While exact details of her kit are yet to be officially disclosed, Mavuika’s skills have already been leaked. The Pyro Archon will be a DPS / Sub-DPS character that will use a Claymore. Her kit revolves around her awesome motorcycle. Pressing E will launch a pyro infused attacks that descent upon enemies every 2 seconds. She will also gain a Pyro Halo behind her, much like Raiden Shogun’s. Holding her E will summon her bike.

Holding her E will summon her motorcycle. She can then ride her bike and ram enemies and attack at the same time. Her motorcycle will last until all her Night Soul points are consumed. Additionally, while riding her bike, she can use it to climb walls, traverse water, and even fly.

Her burst skill sees her jump, rider her motorcycle, and plunge down on her enemies. While in this state, she will have increased stats while riding her bike.
