HoYoverse Files “HoYoLand” Trademark as Fans Speculate on Theme Park Ambitions

HoYoverse has officially filed a trademark for “HoYoLand” on September 29, 2025, under the name Cognosphere PTE. LTD. The filing is still under examination, and no further details have been shared publicly.

This move has sparked widespread speculation among fans. Some imagine that HoYoLand could be a physical theme park or event space, leveraging immersive experiences for Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, and other HoYoverse IPs. Others believe it might be a digital “theme park” in virtual form—an interactive social hub or event platform with mini-games, gatherings, and shared world features.

It’s worth noting that HoYoverse has already experimented with offline events under the HoYoLand name in Korea. Past events included cosplay, concerts, exhibit displays, themed decor, and character art displays.

Given that precedent, a more elaborate event franchise or hybrid experience seems plausible. But whether HoYoLand turns out to be a physical park, a large-scale pop-up, or an immersive digital space, we’ll need to wait for official confirmation.
