Fans of the widely popular anime series, Jujutsu Kaisen, can get excited for the upcoming second season which is set to premiere on July 6th, 2023. The announcement was made during the AnimeJapan 2023 stage alongside a trailer that revealed the key visual for the “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” arc.
The upcoming season will have a top-tier staff including director Shota Goshozono who previously worked as the animation director for “Ranking of Kings” and the episode director for “Chainsaw Man.” Ryota Aikei will serve as the assistant director, Hiroshi Seko will handle the series composition and screenplay. Character design will be done by Tadashi Hiramatsu, with Sayaka Koiso as the sub character designer. Junichi Higashi will be the art director and Yoshimasa Terui will compose the music.
In addition to the existing cast, two new cast members will join the show. Takehito Koyasu will join as Toji Fushiguro, while Anna Nagase will voice Riko Amanai.


Studio MAPPA, which animated the first season of the TV anime and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie, will be in charge of animating the series. The second season will cover two arcs: “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” and “Shibuya Incident.” Fans can expect more excitement and suspense as the story progresses.


Jujutsu Kaisen is based on a manga by Gege Akutami and has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since March 2018. The manga has gained immense popularity and has been published in English by Viz Media.
