Krafton Accelerates “Big Franchise IP” Strategy with 26 Projects

Krafton has officially launched its “Big Franchise IP” strategy for 2026, aimed at achieving long-term growth through the expansion of its core titles. The company currently has a robust pipeline of 26 projects in development. Within this lineup, 12 new titles are targeted for release within the next two years. These include highly anticipated games such as Subnautica 2, Palworld Mobile, and the recently revealed open-world shooter No Law. This strategy emphasizes expanding publishing volume and allocating resources efficiently to secure competitive, creative IPs that can sustain a long lifecycle.

Cultivating Global Hits: InZOI and Mimesis

Following successful early access launches in late 2025, InZOI and Mimesis have been designated as key strategic IPs for 2026. Both titles achieved significant milestones by selling over 1 million copies each and establishing a solid global player base.

  • InZOI: Krafton plans to enhance the long-term sustainability of this life simulation game by strengthening AI-based user-generated content (UGC) and expanding social interactions.
  • Mimesis: Positioned as a leading title in the cooperative horror genre, Mimesis will receive mid-to-long-term updates to foster a deep and dedicated fan community.

Expanding the PUBG Universe

Krafton’s flagship IP, PUBG: Battlegrounds, continues to be a cornerstone of the company’s growth. The roadmap for 2026 includes significant motion updates, new gameplay modes, and the expansion of the franchise into different genres. New projects such as PUBG: Blind Spot and Project Black Budget are set to broaden the IP’s reach across various platforms. Furthermore, Krafton is exploring the integration of physical AI and robotics data, leveraging the realistic physics and interaction data from the PUBG virtual world, to advance its mid-to-long-term AI business initiatives.
