“Million Arthur Codename MA” Square Enix RPG Begins Testing In China

Chinese developers Perfect World and Square Enix have recently announced that their upcoming RPG game, “Million Arthur Codename MA” has started a new Beta Testing phase in China. The game is part of the long-running “Million Arthur” game franchise by Square Enix and is a direct Sequel to “Rebellious Million Arthur.”

The “Million Arthur” series is quite popular in Asia but did not get much exposure in western regions. Despite that, the franchise has enjoyed success and is still quite popular. “Codename MA” is the latest game title to be added to “Million Arthur” in a long while. The game will feature anime aesthetics, superb graphics, and flashy combat animations. The mechanics will be the classic turn-based JRPG formula with card collecting as the base formula for combat.

Each character in the game is called an “Arthur.” A bit confusing at first but it gets more simple as they’re going to be classified into different types like Mercenary Arthur, Tycoon Arthur, Songstress Arthur, and so on.

The Beta test for “Codename MA” begins in January 2023 in China. The game is still in development though we already know it will be available for Android and PC. What we do not know is if will even come out for the global market or if it’s a China-exclusive game. More info soon so stay tuned to Enduins!
