Nioh 3 Launches February 6, 2026 for PS5 and PC, New Story Trailer Revealed

Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have officially confirmed that Nioh 3—the next chapter in their dark Sengoku action series—will launch on February 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.

This installment casts Tokugawa Takechiyo as its protagonist, a figure destined to become the next Shogun. The plot unfolds as his younger brother, Tokugawa Kunimatsu, consumed by jealousy and darkness, summons hordes of yokai to disrupt Takechiyo’s rise to power. Guided by the spirit Kusanagi, Takechiyo traverses eras and regions in a quest to restore peace.

Nioh 3 expands the series’ world in scale and scope. Players will explore familiar territories like Edo Castle and the Tōtōmi region, plus the capital of Kyoto during the Heian period. Free-movement open fields replace many of the linear corridors of past entries, giving exploration a more dynamic feel.

In addition to the standard edition, the game will offer a Digital Deluxe Edition bundled with cosmetics, DLC content, and a Season Pass. A Treasure Box physical version is also set to feature collector items like an art book, soundtrack, exclusive accessories, and more.
