Project KV Canceled Weeks After Announcement

Project KV, a new game developed by former Blue Archive creators Park Byung-rim, DoReMi, and Isakusan, has been canceled just weeks after its announcement. Publisher and developer Dynamis One shared the news on their official X (Twitter) account, citing the need to avoid further complications and addressing the lukewarm reception as key reasons behind the cancellation.

The game faced criticism for its similarities to Blue Archive, which likely contributed to the decision. Speculation has also surfaced about potential legal action from Nexon, though no official confirmation has been provided.

Dynamis One expressed their commitment to learning from this experience and hopes to meet fans’ expectations in the future. However, the team, formed only in April, faced significant development challenges, including a shortage of programmers, which may explain the lack of gameplay footage released.

While Project KV has been shelved, there remains a slim possibility that Dynamis One could rework the concept in the future.
