Rememento: White Shadow Temporarily Shutting Down Just After 5 Months

Rememento: White Shadow has announced that it will be closing on November 27, 2025, barely five months after its official launch. In an official announcement, the developers thanked all players, known as “Wardens,” for their unwavering support since the game’s launch. But, it’s not the end for the game, as Blackstorm plans to fully relaunch, revamping everything from the ground up. Japan servers will shut down first on November 27, 2025 with the global version following suit some time in January 31, 2026.

Details of Service Closure and Refunds

Players who bought the premium item “Glowing Memories” will be able to apply for refunds, the announcement said. The developers suggested that players visit the official notice page for comprehensive details on the refund procedure and the impending service termination.

A Brief Adventure

Rememento: White Shadow’s striking art direction and poignant narrative initially drew notice. Nevertheless, it seems the game had trouble sustaining long-term engagement despite the initial excitement. The closure represents yet another short-lived phase in the history of mobile role-playing games, where even ambitious games frequently encounter fierce competition and difficulties retaining players.

Before servers go offline permanently, players have until the end of November to play the game one last time. Check out the official website for more info.
