Resident Evil: Survival Unit, a new licensed mobile game developed through a collaboration between Capcom, Aniplex, and Joycity, has officially launched its service across iOS and Android platforms. The tactical war strategy game is now available globally in 151 countries, including Thailand. This release brings the Resident Evil franchise to mobile with a focus on strategic planning and base management, though Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau are slated for launch in early 2026.

Classic Characters and Strategic Gameplay

The game invites players to experience the horror alongside iconic main characters from the series, including Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, and Claire Redfield. The core gameplay revolves around strategic decision-making and survival in a mysteriously ruined city. As a survivor, players must establish and upgrade their own fortress, meticulously gather resources, and strategically manage personnel and defenses to ward off hordes of the infected before they are overwhelmed.

Base Building and Defense

Players begin the game at a ruined mansion in the city, which they must slowly restore facility by facility to lay the foundation for survival. Success depends on strategically managing resources, defense lines, and research to build an unshakeable base. Throughout the journey, the famous characters will join the player and play crucial roles in the unfolding story.
