Riot’s Fighting Game, “2XKO” Reveals Illaoi Gameplay Trailer

Riot Games has released a new trailer for the free-to-play fighting game 2XKO, featuring an in-depth look at the playable character Illaoi, the Kraken Priestess.

Caroline Montano, a game designer on 2XKO, introduced Illaoi, the Kraken Priestess, emphasizing her heavy-hitting playstyle focused on overwhelming opponents with pressure and big damage. Illaoi’s kit revolves around summoning and activating tentacles, which require smart play and risk-taking. Montano detailed Illaoi’s Supers, highlighting their oppressive nature and strategic use. Illaoi’s ideal tag partner is one with strong neutrality and mobility, like Ahri. Illaoi will debut at EVO Japan alongside other characters, and players can sign up for at-home playtests.

“2XKO” is set to release for various gaming platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC sometime in 2025.
