This season marks the change from Year of the Rabbit to Year of the Dragon in the lunar calendar. It’s a big occasion, and Teamfight Tactics is ready to celebrate with a Lunar Festival bringing a scorching hot blast of all-new holiday-themed cosmetics and the game’s first-ever set revival – Set 3.5 Revival: Galaxies.
Teamfight Tactics’ Set 3.5, Galaxies: Return to the Stars, was originally released in June 2020, and featured Space Pirates, transforming Mecha, and the first iteration of TFT’s now-familiar Portals – or Galaxies, as they were called back then. This year’s refreshed version in Set 3.5 Revival: Galaxies includes an all-new event pass and vault items that lean into the Year of the Dragon while including celestial elements from its original incarnation.

Players can also unlock a variety of Year of the Dragon cosmetics, designed to seamlessly blend traditional aesthetics with contemporary designs that feel fresh (and a little wacky). Highlights include Chibi Prestige Dragon Fist Lee Sin, Chibi Porcelain Lux, Chibi Guqin Sona, and the stunning Golden Dragon Skyscraper arena.

Teamfight Tactics’ Lunar Festival update will be launching on PC and mobile/tablets on January 24. Both the base game and its updates are, as always, completely free to play.
