“Tekken 8” Officially Announced For PS5, Windows PC, And Xbox Series!

Bandai Namco has officially announced “Tekken 8” during Sony’s annual State Of Play event. The game was revealed via a trailer showcasing Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima going head to head once again! And guess what? The trailer is actually in-game footage!

Tekken series producer, Katsuhiro Harada said that the “Tekken 8” trailer was rendered in real-time on PlayStation 5 However this doesn’t directly translate to actual gameplay. Harada continued to explain that the clip used in the trailer was from the current work-in-progress version of “Tekken 8’s” story mode.

Additionally, Harada also explained that the dynamic weather we see in the clip like the heavy rain and tornadoes wreaking havoc in the background will be actual effects used in stages during fights!

“Tekken 8” is the next main addition to the long-running “Tekken” franchise succeeding 2017’s “Tekken 7.” The game was teased during EVO back in August but the trailer officially marks its announcement and reveal.

Although “Tekken 8” was only announced for PlayStation 5, the game has been confirmed to be coming to other gaming platforms including Windows PC via Steam and Xbox Series X. More information will be revealed soon so stay tuned!
