XLGames has officially announced a “Server Slam Test” for their upcoming extraction shooter, THE CUBE, SAVE US. The test is scheduled to run from February 19 to February 22, 2026. This limited-time event is designed to stress-test the game’s servers and network infrastructure to ensure they can handle large-scale data traffic before the full launch. Players who participate will have the chance to experience the game’s intense survival mechanics firsthand and help the developers identify any remaining bugs or stability issues.

New Bosses and Gameplay Refinements
The upcoming test build introduces several significant updates and new content for players to explore. Most notably, a new boss named Yacha has been added, along with various additional enemy types to heighten the challenge within the Cube. The development team has also focused on quality-of-life improvements, including:
- Refined UI/UX: The menu structure and in-game interface have been polished for a more intuitive experience.
- Enhanced Anti-Cheat: A more stable and effective anti-cheat system has been implemented to ensure fair play.
- Performance Optimizations: Various technical tweaks have been made to provide a smoother frame rate during high-action sequences.

A High-Stakes Post-Apocalyptic Setting
THE CUBE, SAVE US is an MMO that blends post-apocalyptic survival with high-stakes extraction shooter mechanics. The story centers on a world devastated by mysterious cube-shaped objects that appeared globally, triggering nuclear-level explosions. Survivors who took refuge underground must now enter these cubes to retrieve valuable resources. However, the cubes are filled with lethal dangers, and a single mistake can lead to the loss of all gathered loot. The game is currently slated for an Early Access release on Steam in the first quarter of 2026.
