Netmarble and developer Netmarble F&C have revealed that The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, a free-to-play open-world action RPG, will officially launch on January 28, 2026. The game is set to release on PlayStation 5, PC (via Steam), iOS, and Android.
A New Chapter in Britannia
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin invites players to explore a richly reimagined open-world version of Britannia, faithfully adapted from the original anime and manga universe. Players take on the role of Prince Tristan, navigating a world torn apart by a mysterious collision of time and space. Alongside familiar faces and brand-new heroes, Tristan must assemble a team, unravel secrets, and restore order to the kingdom.

The narrative intertwines original story arcs with fan-favorite lore. The game emphasizes not only epic battles but also moments of peace—players can fish, cook, and explore while uncovering hidden dungeons and treasure. Assembling your party’s roster is a key mechanic: different heroes bring unique abilities and synergies to exploration and combat.

What to Expect & How to Prepare
Because Origin is free-to-play, players should anticipate a systems loop built around engagement, team building, exploration, and potentially monetization via cosmetic or convenience systems. With an official date now confirmed, fans of The Seven Deadly Sins franchise can begin preparing by pre-registering on their platform of choice and watching for updates leading up to launch.
