Netmarble has announced that it will unveil new information for its upcoming open-world action RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, during the Summer Game Fest 2025 Showcase on June 6, including a brand new trailer.
This highly anticipated title is based on the popular Japanese manga and anime series, The Seven Deadly Sins, which has sold over 55 million copies worldwide. The game serves as a sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, which has surpassed 70 million downloads globally.
Game Features and Gameplay
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin introduces an original multiverse storyline set in the expansive world of Britannia. Players will follow Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth, as he embarks on a quest to correct space-time distortions caused by a mysterious artifact known as the Star Fragment.
The game offers a vast open-world experience, allowing players to explore diverse environments, engage in real-time combat, and interact with various characters from both The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Combat mechanics are enhanced by the ability to switch between different weapons and heroes, each offering unique skills and lethal moves.
