Eclipse Glow Games has released a new gameplay trailer and screenshots, titled “Break the Mirror,” for their Arthurian legend-inspired fantasy action-adventure game, Tides of Annihilation. The game is set in a modern-day, invasion-fractured London and a mysterious otherworld realm, where the lone survivor, Gwendolyn, seeks the Holy Grail to rescue her sister and restore the world.

The new trailer focuses on the protagonist, Gwendolyn, as she confronts the powerful shape-shifting witch Tyronoe. Gwendolyn is assisted by the spear-wielding Sir Lamorak, a Knight of the Roundtable, whose suffering has been caused by Tyronoe. This new chapter in Gwendolyn’s quest involves uncovering the conflicts behind the Knights of the Roundtable and the truth behind the otherworldly invasion. The climactic battle shown takes place in church ruins against Tyronoe, who possesses the ability to travel between the human world and a mysterious Mirror Folded Realm she creates.

Unique Dual Battle Feature

The core unique feature of the game is the Knights System, which allows Gwendolyn to summon and command spectral knights in battle. The “Break the Mirror” trailer showcases a new part of this system: the Dual Frontline Battle System. This new mechanic enables the player to control both Gwendolyn and Sir Lamorak simultaneously to attack Tyronoe and break down her magical barriers, adding a dynamic layer to the action combat. More named Knights of the Roundtable are expected to be featured and summonable as Gwendolyn progresses in her quest.

Platforms and Release Date
