Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Remake Officially Announced At TGA 2025

Official Announcement Details

Amazon Games, Crystal Dynamics, and Flying Wild Hog have officially announced a remake of the original 1996 Tomb Raider titled Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. This exciting reimagining of Lara Croft’s debut adventure is set to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

A Modern Take on a Classic Adventure

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the game promises jaw-dropping visuals and modern game design while respecting the atmosphere of the classic. Players will once again step into the role of Lara Croft to explore ancient ruins and exotic locations, including the jungles of Peru, the deserts of Egypt, and a mysterious Mediterranean island. The objective remains the same: to traverse dangerous landscapes, solve deadly contraptions, and hunt for the powerful artifact known as the Scion.
