PQube and Dual Effect have announced that Tormented Souls 2 will release on October 23, 2025, for Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, and GOG. The reveal came with a new gameplay trailer during the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2025.
Caroline’s Dark Journey
Following the events at Wildberger Hospital, Caroline Walker is once again pulled into horror after her sister Anna becomes tormented by visions of death. This time, the nightmare leads her to the sinister town of Villa Hess, where she must face cults, shifting realities, and monstrous abominations.
Switching Between Realities
Caroline’s supernatural powers return, allowing her to step into the “Other side” and manipulate past events to change the present. These shifts not only reveal Villa Hess’ disturbing history but also directly shape gameplay outcomes.
Horrors That Lurk Within
Among the new threats are terrifying bosses such as the Iron Maiden, a masked executioner wielding a massive crucifix, and The Harvester, a grotesque fusion of flesh and machinery armed with a buzzsaw. Each encounter pushes survival to its limits.
