The Wolfenstein franchise is headed to the small screen! A new Wolfenstein live-action TV series is officially in development at Amazon, with the creative team behind the hit Fallout adaptation leading the charge.
While most story details are under wraps, early reports suggest the series will take strong inspiration from 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order and 2017’s The New Colossus—the gritty reboot games that modernized the Nazi-fighting saga for a new generation.

A New Timeline, A Familiar Fight
The Wolfenstein universe is set in a dystopian timeline where the Nazis won World War II, plunging the world into a brutal regime armed with futuristic weaponry and robotic war machines. At the center of the resistance? Captain William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, a hardened U.S. Army Ranger determined to dismantle the Nazi regime one battle at a time.
This new series will reportedly carry that same energy, combining alternate-history war drama with sci-fi weaponry and high-octane rebellion—an explosive mix for TV.

The show is being developed by Kilter Films, the studio responsible for Fallout’s breakout success, and Patrick Somerville, known for Station Eleven and Maniac, under his Chaoticgood.TV banner.
Even more exciting: Jerk Gustafsson, longtime developer at MachineGames (the current studio behind the Wolfenstein games), has signed on as executive producer. His involvement suggests a close adherence to the recent game lore and tone—good news for fans who loved The New Order and The New Colossus.

While there’s no premiere date yet, the series is in active development, likely benefiting from the massive popularity of Fallout’s adaptation, which returns with Season 2 this December.
