Highly anticipated open-world action RPG, “Wuthering Waves” recently revealed brand new gameplay footage. The 11-minute long video was shared by IGN, giving a sneak peek of what players will experience of what the game would be like.
About “Wuthering Waves”
“Wuthering Waves” is Kuro Games’ next action RPG for mobile. The game the gameplay mechanics of “Punishing: Gray Raven” and transfers it into a brand new open-world environment. The story takes place in a world struck by a calamity a hundred years ago. Ever since then, monstrous beings have spawned throughout the lands sowing discord and destruction in their wake. Human civilization was pushed to the brink of collapse.
The gameplay footage shows various mechanics including map traversing using multiple objects and items. The world of “Wuthering Waves” went for that dull post-apocalyptic aesthetic which is just right for the game’s background story. We noticed that there are hidden items scattered around the map that can be revealed using certain skills or items. The combat system for “Wuthering Waves” is also looking superb with a character-switching mechanic similar to “Genshin Impact” but more intense. Knowing that the game was made by Kuro Game who developed “Punishing: Gray Raven,” this is no surprise.
“Wuthering Waves” will conduct a limited Closed Beta Testing phase on April 24, 2023.
