Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 “Memories of Dreams Bygone” Launches October 15

HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero will release its Version 2.3, titled “Memories of Dreams Bygone,” on October 15. This update expands the world, adds new Agents, outfits, gameplay content, and haunted narratives emerging from the Hollow.

In this update, players will join forces with the group Spook Shack as they explore a newly unlocked region called Timesworn Hills. Abandoned ruins, testing facilities, and mysterious legends populate the area. The update’s story involves missing miners and Porcelumex employees, drawing Proxies into the Hollow to uncover unsettling truths behind ghostly rumors.

Three new Agents will join the fray: Lucia (S-Rank Ether Support), Yidhari (S-Rank Ice Rupture), and Komano Manato (A-Rank Fire Rupture). Existing Agents and banners also get updates. Alongside new outfits and cosmetic options for Agents like Vivian and Manato, the patch includes refinements to combat for Soldier 0 – Anby.

On the gameplay front, the update introduces Threshold Simulation, which allows Proxies to deploy multiple squads in interconnected challenges. The event “When Dreams Remain Unfinished” adds a turn-based combat mode, letting players control monsters with unique traits and positioning tactics. Completing the event grants Agent Manato for free.

Version 2.3 will be available on PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, PC, iOS, and Android. Players can expect Polychrome bonus rewards, Encrypted Master Tapes, and event rewards to mark the update.
