Zoopunk, 3D Action Adventure Announced for Consoles and PC

Developer TiGames has officially announced ZOOPUNK, a new 3D action-adventure game set in the same universe as their previous hit, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch. The game is confirmed for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store). While the platforms have been confirmed, a specific release date has not yet been announced.

Origins of the Animal Punk Universe

The story acts as a prequel, set decades before the events of F.I.S.T., chronicling the turbulent origins of Torch City. In this era, the discovery of “fire seed energy” triggers rapid technological advancement and catastrophic conflict, leading to the rise of self-aware mechanical war machines that turn against their animal creators. Players will experience the dawn of the First Torch War, exploring a fractured world shaped by differing ideologies regarding the nature of the soul, a core theme of the narrative.

Dynamic Gameplay and Playable Characters

Unlike its predecessor’s Metroidvania style, ZOOPUNK aims to break away from that mold with a new 3D structure. The gameplay focuses on dynamic combat inspired by animal traits, featuring multiple playable characters. The roster includes Rayton the Rabbit (agile melee specialist), Braton the Rhino (a heavy brawler with a flame sword), and Trixie the Chipmunk (nimble acrobatics). The reveal trailer showcases these characters infiltrating enemy fortifications to seize the Spark and protect Torch City from the encroaching mechanical empire.
