Netmarble is set to launch the closed beta test for its upcoming action RPG, Mongil: Star Dive, in the near future. Developed by Netmarble Monster, this game is a spiritual successor to the 2013 title Monster Tamer, which attracted over 15 million players worldwide.

Built using Unreal Engine 5, Mongil: Star Dive offers cross-platform gameplay across PC, consoles, and mobile devices (iOS and Android).

Gameplay and Features

Set in the fantasy world of Belana, the game follows protagonists Verna and Cloud on their adventure, accompanied by the mysterious mascot character, Nyanners.

Players can tame monsters using Nyanners’ abilities, forming three-member teams for strategic, tag-based combat. Tamed monsters can be customized and equipped with “Monster-rings” to enhance abilities.

The game features high-quality 3D graphics and immersive storytelling, aiming to appeal to both fans of the original Monster Tamer and new players.

Closed Beta Test Details
