Netmarble Announces Solo Leveling: KARMA for PC and Mobile

Netmarble has officially announced Solo Leveling: KARMA, an all-new roguelite action RPG coming to PC, iOS, and Android. The game was unveiled during Crunchyroll’s panel at Anime Expo 2025 and promises a brand-new story set in the Solo Leveling universe. This time, players will dive into a never-before-explored timeline—a mysterious 27-year gap following the events of the Monarch War. For longtime fans, that’s a massive narrative hook.

A New Gameplay Experience Built from the Ground Up

Unlike Solo Leveling: ARISE or the upcoming OVERDRIVE, KARMA is not a retelling of Jinwoo’s existing journey. Instead, it’s a full-fledged side story, built as a roguelite dungeon crawler with procedurally generated stages, intense boss fights, and fast-paced isometric combat. Think Hades meets anime. Players will control Sung Jinwoo as he battles through chaotic dungeons, leveling up and adapting with every run. According to Netmarble, this new title is designed to be easy to jump into, but hard to master—making it perfect for both casual players and hardcore action fans.

Setting: Filling in the 27-Year Lore Gap

What makes KARMA stand out narratively is its focus on the 27-year period left unaddressed in both the anime and the original webtoon. This era has always intrigued fans, especially given Jinwoo’s growing power and isolation after the Monarch conflict. Now, players will be able to experience this time period firsthand, gaining new insight into Jinwoo’s legacy and the threats he continued to face. It’s more than just fanservice—it’s essential storytelling for anyone invested in the Solo Leveling universe.

Platforms, Availability, and What to Expect

Solo Leveling: KARMA will be available on Windows via Steam, as well as on iOS and Android mobile platforms. While a specific release date hasn’t been shared yet, the game is listed as “coming soon.” Pre-registration details and early access perks are expected to be announced in the coming months. In the meantime, fans can check out the game’s official website for further updates.
