“Assassin’s Creed Mirage” Announced By Ubisoft, Official Reveal Expected For September 10

Game developer and publisher Ubisoft has officially announced the brand new addition to their popular stealth and action RPG game franchise, “Assassin’s Creed.” The next title will be officially called “Assassin’s Creed Mirage,” and will be the latest AC game following “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” which was released back in 2020.

The announcement came right after supposedly leaked images of the game were posted online. Ubisoft revealed “Assassin’s Creed Mirage via their Twitter which you can see down below. The game will be set in 9th century Baghdad and will see Basim Ibn Ishaq, a supporting character in “Valhalla” become the main protagonist in “Mirage.”

“Assassin’s Creed Mirage” will have a more centralized open world and will focus more on stealth gameplay. Additionally, according to the now-deleted leak, the game will have what seemed to be an expansion called “The Forty Thieves Quests” which, as far as we know, is based on the tale of “Ali Baba and And The Forty Thieves” from “The One Thousand And One” which is collection of middle eastern folk tales.

More information about the game is expected to be officially revealed during the annual Ubisoft Forward presentation on September 10, 2022, Pacific time. Are you looking forward to this new “Assassin’s Creed” game? Don’t forget to check again next week for the official details about “Mirage!”
