HoYoverse Counters Zenless Zone Zero Leaks With Their Own “Official Leaks”

The leaked concept art includes designs for three characters from a new faction called the “Sons of Calydon,” themed around a “virtual idol camp.” These characters are envisioned as positive and optimistic idols who convey their dreams through dedicated performances, aiming to inspire players.

HoYoverse clarified that the designs are still in development and the final versions might differ. They plan to debut these characters as virtual idols in official ZZZ broadcasts and launch related products, such as character songs.

The developers acknowledged the unfortunate circumstances of the leaks, stating, “It is not our intention to let you see the product of our early creation in advance in this way, and it is a pity both for us and for all of you Proxies.” They emphasized that their commitment to creating surprises and enjoyable content remains unchanged. HoYoverse hopes the game’s community, known as Proxies, will continue to support and anticipate official releases from New Eridu.
