The Minecraft Movie Trailer Just Dropped And It’s Bonkers!

The teaser trailer for A Minecraft Movie has been released, giving fans a glimpse of the upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular video game. The film, directed by Jared Hess, stars Jason Momoa as Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, alongside Jack Black as Steve and Danielle Brooks. In the trailer, Momoa’s character and his friends, played by Brooks, Emma Myers, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen, are transported into the pixelated world of Minecraft.

The trailer showcases several Minecraft elements, including familiar creatures like piglins and characters such as Steve. Jack Black’s portrayal of Steve is highlighted with a line from the clip, “Anything you can dream about here, you can make.” The film follows Momoa’s group of misfit friends as they navigate the cubic Overworld, where they must rediscover their creativity to find a way back to reality.

Scheduled for release on April 4, 2025, A Minecraft Movie is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures. The film promises to bring the beloved block-building world to life for fans of the game and newcomers alike.
