Key Features of Version 2.0 “Terra’s Call”

New Map – Itzaland

In Version 2.0, players can explore two new areas in Itzaland—“Elderwood Forest” and “Spira”. Players will be able to fully explore the diverse landscapes and cultures across this vast land.

Elderwood Forest: A primal jungle filled with colossal plants and mysterious ecosystems, the first step into truly immersive exploration.

Spira: A playful civilization of Shroomling and snail-shell houses, friendship-driven exploration that celebrates childhood joy.

New Gameplay

Gigantification: Nikki can now transform at will, becoming a towering giant who runs faster, leaps higher, and unleash a thunderous roar at Behemoths. The deeper she ventures into the new world of Itzaland, the more her giant form evolves, granting her greater power to explore the unknown.

Grappling: Nikki can use grappling points scattered throughout the environment to perform rapid point-to-point movement, gaining greater vertical and spatial mobility. Like her Gigantification ability, these grappling abilities can be enhanced through exploration.

New Combat Experience

Archery: The 1st combat weapon of Nikki. Version 2.0 introduces an Archery ability as the centerpiece of combat. Its unique energy, charge, and shield-breaking systems enable flexible, skill-based battles with scalable growth paths. Beyond combat, the Archery ability also significantly enhances exploration, allowing Nikki to activate distant mechanisms, collect items from afar, and even shoot down Whim Stars.

Battle Companion: Nikki can now summon companions to fight alongside her, offering offensive support or defensive aid during combat. These companions enable players to tailor their combat style and strategy for every challenge.

Playful Environmental Interactions

Rideable Snails: Snails are no longer just background creatures, they’re now reliable, rideable companions capable of climbing walls and helping Nikki travel place to place, opening up entirely new paths of exploration.

Whimsical Interactions & Collectibles: Join mushroom NPCs in singing, jumping rope, and discover “Draken Teardrops”, a new collectible series that blends playful exploration with gentle, emotional storytelling.

New 2.0 Theme Song

Idina Menzel, the renowned singer behind “Let It Go” from Frozen, brings her iconic voice to Version 2.0’s new theme song, “Kuna! Itzaland!”, breathing life into the vibrant world of Itzaland and adding an unforgettable soundtrack to Nikki’s adventure.
