Konami and developer NeoBards Entertainment have announced that Silent Hill f, the latest installment in the renowned survival horror series, will launch on September 25, 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
A New Setting and Storyline
Silent Hill f marks a significant departure from previous entries by setting the narrative in 1960s Japan, specifically in the fictional town of Ebisugaoka. Players will follow the story of Hinako Shimizu, a high school student navigating a fog-engulfed town filled with nightmarish creatures. The game explores themes of psychological horror, with decisions made by the player influencing Hinako’s fate.
Gameplay and Features
The game introduces a more action-oriented combat system, emphasizing melee attacks. Puzzles are deeply integrated into the storyline, reflecting psychological anguish and elements of Japanese culture. The development team aimed to “find the beauty in terror,” resulting in a unique blend of horror and aesthetic design.
