Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2025 Set for July 2, Featuring New My Hero Academia Game and Major Reveals

Bandai Namco has officially announced the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2025, scheduled to go live on July 2 at 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET, streaming globally on YouTube. This summer broadcast is shaping up to be one of the biggest in recent years, with a powerful lineup of new game reveals, deep dives, and exclusive trailers.

Brand-New My Hero Academia Game Headlines the Showcase

A completely new My Hero Academia game will be officially revealed during the showcase. While details remain under wraps, the excitement is sky-high. Fans of the franchise can likely expect an action-heavy experience, possibly with team-based mechanics and character customization.

Towa, Digimon, and More: What Else to Expect

The event will also debut an exclusive trailer for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, a colorful, dual-character action RPG with roguelite elements and town-building systems. Another major highlight is the gameplay deep dive for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, which will show off mechanics, story structure, and the game’s new turn-based battle system.

That’s just the start. The showcase promises updates on Code Vein II, the long-awaited sequel to the popular anime-style soulslike RPG. Horror fans can look forward to more information about Little Nightmares III, which introduces co-op play for the first time in the series. For strategy lovers, Super Robot Wars Y will also make an appearance, bringing mecha battles back to the spotlight.

Legacy Titles and Surprise Additions

In addition to new releases, Bandai Namco is spotlighting beloved IPs with fresh content. PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY is bringing rhythmic strategy gameplay to a modern audience with enhanced visuals and controls. Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots returns with updated mini-golf gameplay, casual multiplayer, and cartoon-style graphics that fans will love. Other confirmed games include The Blood of Dawnwalker, Shadow Labyrinth, and a new narrative mystery experience in Death Note: Killer Within.

Tekken 8 will also appear, focusing on “Navigating Fahkumram,” likely a new mode or character expansion for the fighting game giant. Expect live gameplay segments, developer commentary, and possibly some surprise release dates.
