NCSOFT has announced that the global release of Blade & Soul Heroes has been postponed from September 2 to September 24, 2025. According to the developers, the delay will allow them to further polish the game and incorporate community feedback to ensure a smoother global launch across 185 countries.
The team expressed gratitude to fans for their patience, assuring players that the extra time will help deliver the best experience possible.
Pre-Registration Still Available
While the release has been pushed back, pre-registration remains open for both iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play, as well as for PC via Steam and Purple. In Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, the game—also known as Blade & Soul Hoyeon (호연)—is expected to roll out in late 2024.

Gameplay: Action Meets Strategy
An 8-minute gameplay trailer highlights Blade & Soul Heroes’ mix of real-time action and strategic turn-based battles. Players can dodge, unleash flashy combos, and finish enemies with cinematic skills. Boss battles and PvP modes shift into a tactical format, requiring careful strategy instead of pure reflexes.
The game emphasizes character collection and party building, letting players form squads of up to five heroes, each with unique abilities. Unlike many RPGs, Blade & Soul Heroes avoids full auto-combat, giving players direct control in battles.
