Smilegate has officially announced Dead Account: Two Blue Flames, a new team-based roguelite game currently in development for mobile and PC. The game is being developed by IAAN Games, under a licensing agreement with Kodansha to adapt the supernatural action manga Dead Account into an interactive experience.
The original Dead Account manga, by Watanabe Shizumu (creator of Real Account), focuses on characters fighting evil spirits, digital curses, and existential horrors. While full gameplay details are still under wraps, early hints suggest the adaptation will retain the dark, tech-haunted tone of its source.

What We Know So Far
Dead Account: Two Blue Flames will be a team roguelite, with a focus on character collection and progression systems. It supports cross-platform play, meaning players on mobile and PC may compete or cooperate across devices. Smilegate has expressed high ambition for this adaptation. The development team hopes the game will do more than just expand the IP, they want it to capture the soul of the manga while pushing beyond typical adaptations.
With the manga also slated for an anime adaptation in 2026, Two Blue Flames becomes part of a broader multimedia push for Dead Account. For fans of the series, this could offer one of the first opportunities to step into its world in an interactive format. More information about the mobile game will be released on a later date.
