Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Second Closed Beta Adds Spider-Man & Ghost Rider

The next phase of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is set to go live from December 5 to December 7, 2025 on PlayStation 5. This second closed beta introduces two new playable characters, Spider-Man and Ghost Rider, bringing the roster to eight fighters.

What’s New in the Beta

Along with the characters, the beta adds two iconic stages: Savage Land, a dinosaur-infested Marvel locale, and X-Mansion, complete with mutant cameos in the background. The session runs a full continuous 72-hour cycle, with open CPU and online battles for the first two days, and online only on the last day.

Why This Beta Matters

This update expands on the game’s tag-team structure and deep team mechanics. With Spider-Man and Ghost Rider joining, players now have more strategic combinations to explore. The expanded roster and new stages suggest the final game will continue to lean into Marvel universe lore and polished fighting-game design.

Cross-platform support (PS5 and PC) and full release are still planned for sometime in 2026.
