ChillyRoom, the studio behind popular mobile titles, has announced the global launch date for their latest 2D action roguelike platformer RPG, PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer. The game is set to arrive on both Android and iOS on November 26. Pre-registration for the title, which previously soft-launched in select regions like the Philippines and Malaysia, is now live. PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland with a dark biopunk aesthetic, where players must uncover the truth behind the “Hive Scourge” and endure the mutant apocalypse.

The gameplay focuses on fast-paced, hack-and-slash combat. Players control one of several unique “Platyguards” with diverse mechanics, allowing for varied playstyles (including samurai, ninja, magic caster, or army summoner). The core combat requires landing brutal combos, precise parries, dodging, and utilizing charged attacks to clear relentless enemy waves. The roguelike nature of the game ensures high replayability, featuring six stages and 50 different monster types and tough bosses.
