MOONTON Games, through its subsidiary Vizta Games, has launched the first Closed Beta Test (CBT) for its upcoming sci-fi title, Warp Knights. This tower defense strategy RPG is giving players in select regions an early chance to step into the role of Commander and begin reclaiming a lost world. The move confirms that the game, which was first unveiled earlier this year, is making solid progress toward a wider release.
Beta Details and Regions
The current CBT is an Android-exclusive, data-wipe test, meaning all progress will be reset before the official launch. The test is currently live in Canada and the United Kingdom and is scheduled to run until December 24th. For players who participate, the beta does include optional purchases, with all top-ups guaranteed to receive a rebate once the game officially launches worldwide. There are still a few limited slots available for players to apply and secure an invitation via email.
Deep Strategic Gameplay
Warp Knights puts a fresh spin on the tower defense genre by incorporating real-time strategy elements and deep RPG progression. Players are tasked with commanding over 40 uniquely designed Operatives, including classes like Phantom and Medic, each featuring stunning 3D designs and distinct combat skills. Success hinges on real-time adaptation; players must utilize a card-based tactical system to manage energy, time their attacks, and use combos to exploit enemy weak points, turning the tide of battle with perfect timing and teamwork.
